Today’s not your day, and tomorrow’s not looking so good either. But, you’ve got this! Good is coming to you. Greatness is in you. Laughter is medicine for the soul. Huffington Post published a study in 2014 on the benefits of laughter. The study looked at 20 older adults. Half were asked to read or sit quietly. The other half watched funny videos.
After 20 minutes, the humor group performed twice as high at memory recall compared to the quiet reading group. The humor group also showed lower cortisol levels (the stress hormone). Living positive makes a difference. Laughing is medicine for the soul. This is just another reason to let go, let God. Let stress leave you. Be in the moment.
